Your ticket is with the host

When you register for an event on a Podium-hosted page, you are buying from the event HOST, not from Podium. The host is the merchant of record via Stripe Connect. Podium is the platform: we run the page, the form, and the payments plumbing. Podium is not the event sponsor or organizer.

Refunds

Refunds follow the host’s refund policy, not a Podium guarantee. If the event is cancelled or changed, the host is liable to attendees. Chargebacks are handled between you, your card issuer, Stripe, and the host.

Raffles and fundraisers

If a ticket is labeled as a raffle or admission, that label is the host’s product type. Podium does not guarantee a winner and does not operate a game of chance. Licensing and eligibility are the host’s responsibility. We do not claim tax deductibility.

Your data

We collect your name, email, phone, and order details to run the event and share them with the event host and with Stripe. We do not sell lists in v1. See the Privacy policy.
